Interview with Fernando Sánchez, CEO of KUKA Iberia
The history of KUKA dates back to 1898, when Johann Josef Keller and Jakob Knappich launched an acetylene gas plant in the German city of Augsburg. INFOPACK: To begin with, what services does KUKA Iberia offer and mainly for what industries?
FERNANDO SYNCHEZ: Here at KUKA, for over 100 years, we have been trying to make life easier and safer thanks to automation. The market is looking for comprehensive solutions and KUKA, through its System Partners, provides such solutions. In addition, we offer products and services for the entire robot lifecycle, from installation planning, through simulation tools, to the supply of robots based on one of the most extensive ranges on the market, integration support, nationwide service distributed throughout the country, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
